I got out of the car to face my mate, his three brothers were slightly standing behind him, letting all the glory shine on him. Alpha Edward looked angry at me. I didn't say a word until he did. 

"Why did you leave the pack?" 

"I had matters to attend to outside the pack," I spat. I close my eyes momentarily, I sound so bitter. 

"You should have told someone!" He hissed.
