I was still in bed when André came in with an armload of bags. I sat up in alarm and watched him drop the bags on the table.

"André, I thought you were just going to find a few and not the entire store..."

He silenced my complaints with a kiss, and when he pulled away, I could feel my face filling with colour.

"You are my woman, and if I could buy the world for you, I would. Now hurry up and get ready. We wouldn't want to keep everyone waiting."
