Olivia's POV

We finally headed inside, and André had to let go of me to attend to something important. I was immediately relieved, and I bolted upstairs to my room.

I was exhausted. Watching my mum put up such a show was exhausting, and all I wanted to do was have a long, cool shower and flop on my bed.

I opened my room door and found myself stuck in the doorway. My eyes surveyed the room, and what I saw made me sceptical about proceeding any further into it.
