I ran the course all over again at lightning speed and stopped at the finish line, panting, with my hands on my knees.

Sephora looked at me and gave me a single nod. That was probably all the praise I would get from her.

I rolled my eyes as she turned her back and walked away, and Grayson walked up to me instead.

"You are getting much better at the training drills. You have improved significantly and in such a short amount of time."
