The next day, I got ready for my meeting with Ciara's secretary at her company.

"Do well, dad!" Alena encouraged, walking me out the front door.

Placing a light kiss on her head, I respond. "Thanks, sweetie"

Turning to face Ciara who stood beside Alena, I hugged her. "Thank you for walking me out as well"

"Let me know how things go, okay?"

"Will do. I'll get going now"
