I wasn't certain if it was just physical attraction I felt towards Asher but one thing I was bent on is not to get my heart involved.

There was something Asher wasn't telling me-I could feel it- but for some reason, I didn't want to dwell on it. Not right now anyways.

"You always ask before doing something" I say. "What if I say no?"

"So be it then," Asher responds. "I just wouldn't want to do anything without your consent"
