The next day, having slept and had a better control over myself and my emotions, I wondered why the throne room seemed so quiet. I had half expected Adrian to come after me when I left him, but he hadn't. Was he in his room asleep? I checked, he was not there.

'Alpha, you have a meeting with the elders this morning', My Beta, Morgan, announced.
