'Your two minutes with my date is over', Sean Anderson said as he came out the door and I was furious that he had to be there. I wasn't through explaining myself to Iris yet. I felt like wringing his neck but he held out his hands to Iris, 'Shall we, darling?'

I was still staring after them long after they had entered the car and driven out of sight.
