It was through thorough investigation. Troy was determined to get to the root of it all. He sent out his men to investigate and he did some digging himself.

He wanted to clear his name in every way possible and the fire of truth he had immersed himself in was not enough as far as he was concerned. He couldn't have Diana doubting him. He loved her too much for that.
