Adrian's POV
“Captain of the most dreaded pirate gang in all of the six wolf kingdoms, terror to the asses of every soldier, the horror of every man, I greet you!” Julian, my beta and first man eulogized me. He'd have gone on and on, but I raised my hand to keep him quiet. I wasn’t in the mood for any of such shenanigans .
“Sit down, Julian. We have important things to talk about.” I said, clapping my hands. Everyone not in the pack left immediately, except one.
Monae.
She sat on the bed, reluctant to leave. She was my go-to for relief. She would willingly bend over for me without even asking. I wasn't sure if it was because I was a pirate, or because I was an alpha, or because the idea of someone so chaotic intrigued her.
“Leave, Monae.” I instructed calmly.
She stood up and left grumbling. I took a deep breath, resting into the chair properly.
Julian stroked his very huge and snakey beard that ran from half of his jaw without connecting with the other half at the centre, but someone twisted down to look like a snake.
“What is it you want to discuss with us, Captain?” Julian asked.
“I caught a whiff of a royal ship coming along here in two days.” I said, and they all got attentive. They were still very nonchalant with it because it wasn't the first time we had hijacked royal shipments.
“The fact that this one has got you thinking has gotten me very intrigued already.” Bruce, the crew's lieutenant said.
“So, what's so special about this royal Fleet that it's got the great alpha of the seawolf thinking?” Greg, the gunner muttered.
“Does it carry more gold than the others?” Harry, the boatswain asked.
“Or it has more ladies?” Julian asked,
“It is the Silverwood's ship.” I said, and everyone kept quiet. They understood the reason why this had become a lot for me.
“But alpha, we've never attacked a Silverwood ship before.” Greg muttered.
“Well, if my informant is correct, this ship is transporting their King's daughter to be married to Prince Ethan of the Diwood Kingdom.” I said, grabbing a cup of ale. I emptied its content, releasing a very soft belch that I barely heard.
“So, you're saying we would attack this one?” Julian asked, keeping his eyes sternly on me.
“We are attacking this one!” I said confidently. “They've decided to take something precious to them through my route, and I'll make it the first thing I take from them.”
“So, what's the plan, alpha?” Julian asked.
I drew a map over the table. As the crew's navigator, it was an easy task for me. I literally grew up learning the world's map.
“Their ship will be weakest when they reach the Pacific Ocean. The moon will be a half-moon, and the soldiers will be weak, making our attack easier.” I said, pointing at the Pacific.
“I've gotten tired of asking how you know all these things and are so sure of them.” Harry chuckled.
“When has his predictions ever failed?” Greg asked.
“They're not predictions, Greg. They're certainties that we ordinary motherfuckers can't see.” Julian growled.
“So, what's the plan now?” Harry asked.
“They're not expecting an attack. At least, not from us.” I shrugged. “The element of surprise is ours, and we'd be ready for them.”
“We should have gone for these cunts for many years.” Greg growled.
“And now, we are.” I growled, cracking my knuckles. “This is the one time for us to take everything we've never taken from them.”
“Greg, make sure we have enough weapons to attack a royal fleet with thrice the men we have.” I said, beginning to dish out orders. “Harry, also make sure that the ship is in good condition. And it must be ready to take as many hits as possible, because I don't expect it to be an easy raid.”
“Yes alpha!” He bowed.
“And Julian, get the boys ready!” I ordered. “From swabbies to powder monkeys to landsmen, every body fucking counts!”
“Yes alpha!”
“Let's get to work boys.”
“aye aye Captain.” they cheered, leaving the room. I got out of the general cabin where we used for our meetings, and I went out to enjoy the good look of the sea. I had spent most of my life on it. I have been a pirate since the moment I was born. It was a part of me that would only die the day I die.
“Do you think the operation would go sour?” Monae asked, walking close to me. She tried touching me, but I was not in the mood for any of it honestly.
“You were eavesdropping on my conversation.” I said calmly.
“I couldn't help it.” She shrugged.
“You're now masking your scent?”
“Or you just didn't pay enough attention to notice me.” She rolled her eyes.
“Don't do that anymore!” I cautioned.
“Answer my question.” She said shortly after.
“You never can tell what life would throw at you,” I shrugged, “and the moon goddess has a way of fucking everything up, so I wouldn't be so surprised.”
“The world is messed up, and we are too.”
“We definitely are.” I scoffed.

It was time for the attack. The Silverwood's royal ship was in sight. It was just one ship, and that even surprised me more. Does the king not care about his daughter?
I took my pendant. The pendant that had been passed from Alphas of the Seawolf pack from a generation to the next.
I kissed it, and I wore it.
I touched Caramel, the ship as she was named.
“Don't get hurt, baby girl.” I muttered, caressing her.
“Raise the flags!” I growled. Julian clapped his hands, and the flag was raised. The logo of a wolf walking on the sea.
“Let's play this game boys.” I muttered, and the attacks began.
“Ahoy boys!” Greg shouted, “load the cannons.”
The cannons were loaded, and were ready to be shot.
“Shoot!” Greg said, raising his hands and the cannons were shot.
We were a little out of sight before from the royal ship, but the cannon made them realize where we actually were.
The cannon hit them really bad, and half the battle was already won before it even started.
Greg was screaming orders, and so was Harry. It was just the usual chaos on the sea, and in no time, we were almost side by side with the royal ship.
Julian and some of the swabbies pushed a ladder between us and the Royal ship. It took a while to make it properly set, especially with the soldiers trying to push it off.
I took the first jump, taking the lead, and boosting the morale of the boys.
Julian blew the horn loudly to make it known that they were being hijacked. It got easier from there.
There was an amount of fear the horn always instills in people.
After hacking down about two people with my bare fingers, I saw a spectacular omega. The smell of her blood gave her identity away, and the cloth she had on showed that she was no ordinary maid.
I went after her, as she ran below the docks. I followed religiously, catching up to her in no time. She was standing in front of a door when I got to her, and I smelt royal blood off of her. I placed my gun behind her head, and the silence that she held was mind-blowing.
The door creaked open slowly as she raised her hands in fear. The scent of the royal blood got thicker, and I came face to face with her.
She looked immediately scared and tense. Her amber golden eyes hid the fear she felt instantly. Her golden hair that had been twisted into little braids flew all over her face.
I wanted to kidnap someone from the royal family, but I never expected them to be this beautiful.
