Adrian's POV
The attack was too good. We got too many supplies from the royal ship, and plus the annoying princess. She could be as much trouble as she could be a good thing. I ensured not to give it too much thought.
We were back on our ship with enough gold, food, supplies, and more things than we could desire from a random cargo ship that we'd hijack.
“Who's she supposed to marry?” I asked one of the soldiers left alive.
“Fuck you piece of scum!” He spat at me.
I slapped him immediately, and thankfully, his neck didn't snap.
“Answer my question.” I said calmly, releasing a sigh.
“Prince Ethan Diamond.” He said, obviously in pain.
“Was that so hard to say?” I asked, growling at him. “Take him into the pit.”
Two powder monkeys took him down the stairs, and we sat round one of the rooms, about to decide what to do with the prisoners, especially the princess.
“Alpha, I beg you that you let me have a moment of privacy with the princess.” Julian giggled. “I wonder what a royal honeypot feels like.”
I slammed my hand on the desk. I hated her, but I wasn't why the thought of her being raped annoyed me even more. I never allowed the rape of ladies, but this one just made me go mad.
“No one touches her until I decide what to do with her.” I said calmly. “Absolutely no one does!”
“But alpha…” Greg was about to protest when I shot him a glare. He kept quiet immediately, scared of what could come after the glare if he decided to keep speaking.
“So, what are we going to do with her?” Bruce asked.
“Nothing for now. I have not yet decided.” I responded, taking deep breaths.
“For now, just enjoy yourselves, and fight no one. Make sure you all steer clear of the princess too.” I said, and they began partying immediately.
Monae came in to seduce me as always. She pressed kisses all over my face, and whispered intense words in my ears.
“Monae, I'm not in for this today.” I whispered back into her ears. “Need to think.”
I easily pushed her off my legs, and gently helped her back to it, and I excused myself from the fun party.
I was on the docks when I felt a strong sense of danger, and I knew the princess was in danger.

We were back at the Pirate Kingdom, the one and only place that feels like home. We were now on the ground, and everyone was packing our things into our territory.
“Why have you brought me here?” She asked, shooting me a tough glance.
“This is where we live, mostly on the sea, but when we want land, this is it.” I responded sharply.
“Do I look like I give a fuck?” She snapped at me.
“You're going to be here for a very long time if you remain this grumpy.” I hissed at her, growling calmly.
“I'm sure my father has the army of the world searching for me right now.”
“Your father sent you with a ship, not a fleet, and barely fifty soldiers, and you think he'd go through that stress for you?” I asked, causing conflict in her heart. “At this point, this seems very unprofitable for me.”
She remained silent, and she was pulled back from speaking to me. I didn't enjoy her silence as much as I thought I would.
“What's your name?” I asked her, shifting closer to her.
“It doesn't concern you.” She snapped at me. “You don't deserve to know it.”
“Do you even have one bit of fear in you?” I asked, shocked at her audacity.
“I fear no savages, neither do I fear pieces of shit like you.” She said, and I took several steps closer to her.
She gasped as I did not stop walking towards her. She was walking backwards, looking at me as she took every step back away from me.
Her back finally hit a tree, and I only stopped an inch away from her, looking directly into her face. I swallowed hard, and so did she.
“What is your name?” I asked, looking directly into her eyes.
“Charlotte. Charlotte Silver.” She said calmly.
“I'd advise that you let no one know about your true identity, or where you're from.” I said to her, “You'd be surprised at how many people want you dead.”
“And you'll have no choice but to protect me.” She whispered, looking into my eyes still.
“I have no energy to do that.” I shrugged. “Whatever they do will favor me.”
“What do you want? Diamonds? Gold? Name it and I'll make sure my father fulfills it.”
“Silver.”
“But we're wolves, how well would you do with Silver?” She scoffed.
“The Silver I want is not one you can give me. I'll take it myself.” I hissed.
“What then can make you let me go freely?”
“I'd advise you to start getting used to this place, we can be pretty fun people.” I smirked.
“Fuck you!”
I finally found the intense energy I needed to walk away from her, and just when I did, we were already heading to our territory.
Charlotte's maid, Rubella helped her come back to her senses if she had zoned out. She walked her back to the fold, and we continued our journey to our territory.
Our part of the pirate kingdom came into sight, and I caught a scent I knew too well. I was angered by the scent, and I turned back immediately, as did almost all members of the pack.
Lucas Dame, my biggest rival and alpha of the seabird crew. He stood there with a smirk on his face.
“Well well well, if it isn't my favorite crew.” He said loudly, with an even bigger smirk.
I wanted to wipe the smirk off his face.
I saw his face get serious, like he was staring at something, or in this case, someone. I turned back to see him and Charlotte, staring at each other.
It annoyed me for no reason, and I felt the urge to prove strength.
Why should I even be proving stuff to the new girl? Why should I worry about this so much? Why do I even give thos much fucks?
