The message came in the morning: Jimson was hosting a party. Media, family, partners. Formal. Katelyn was on the list and so was Gray.

I stared at the screen longer than I should have. Two weeks since Katelyn and I agreed to break up for now. Two weeks of silence. And now a room where I’d have to see her and her father.
