“Matt,” I said, barely above a whisper. “Run. Go back to camp and get Austin.”

He didn’t move. His eyes were locked on the glowing yellow ones staring back at us from the trees. My hands trembled slightly, but I kept the gun aimed steady.

“Go!” I snapped. “Now!”
