Rebecca’s voice rang across the hallway like a bell.

My body reacted before my brain did. I slipped out of Austin’s arms almost on instinct and pushed lightly at his chest. “You should go,” I whispered fast. “Now.”

He frowned, clearly confused. “Why?”

“Because that’s Rebecca,” I said under my breath. “You’re literally her idol. She’ll faint. Or scream. Or both.”
