Aurora’s POV

Luna Melissa’s hands shook so hard the folder nearly slipped from her grip. Her knuckles went white, and the muscles in her arms tensed as she clutched the papers. Her lips trembled violently.

She stared at the line about Alpha Frank’s secret, eyes darting over it again and again.

“Alpha Frank couldn’t possibly…” she started, her voice low and shaky. She said it again, but quieter, and again, each word softer, until she sounded more like she was talking to herself ...
