Aurora’s POV

The siren on the ceiling flashed red. Footsteps slapped the tile. A stretcher rolled fast from the lift. Two nurses and one doctor rushed into the ward with a crash cart and a tray of gauze.

Helen pushed in behind them, hair loose, eyes wide, chest heaving.

She took one look at Alpha Frank curled on the floor with both hands between his legs, and another look at Luna Melissa on her knees with blood streaming from her left eye.
