Aurora’s POV

Steam still lingered in the bathroom, coating the mirror with a thin film. I wiped it once more and leaned in close.

My pupils glowed brighter than ever before, clear silver that reflected the light above. Strands of my hair shimmered faintly, carrying a streak of color that hadn’t been there before.
