Aurora’s POV

When I woke up, pain pressed down on me from every direction. It was not sharp enough to make me cry out, but it was heavy and constant.

My chest felt tight when I breathed, and my arms ached even when I kept them still. I tried to move, but the moment I shifted, a firm hand stopped me.
