Two days after the Red Moon party, Beta knocked on my office door and stepped inside with a careful look on his face.

“Alpha Keith,” he said, “we just received word. Luna Aurora has woken up.”

I put down the report in my hand. My back still ached when I moved, but I kept my face steady. “From where?” I asked.

“From the Red Moon Wolf Clan, Alpha,” he replied. “Through a closed channel. It seems Alpha Gray did not want this to spread.”
