Dorian’s pov
Parking my bike in front of the convenience store i took off my helmet, letting my hair fall to my shoulders, covering my tattoos behind my neck. Letting out a sigh i cracked my nec, taking out my cigar and lit it up with a lighter. Taking a strong whiff, i let it out and stared into the night.
My phone rang desperately in mt pocket and i could already tell the old man was the one but still took it out of my pocket to take a look.
“Where the hell are you! I asked you to come over by my office, why dont you ever listen?” my fther yelled at the other end of the line but i couldnt care less. “Why do you have to be such a hassle? Cant you see your twin-” i ended the call abruptly and waklked into the store. Coming from wealth may seem to othrs that i have the best life but i wanted to move as far away a possible, didnt want to in anyway associate with my father.
Walking into the store, I walked down the isle, I could feel their eyes on me and someone tailing a distance from me but I kept my cool.
Shoving my hands into my pocket, I clenched my knife, my eyes calm but very vigilant.
“Long time no see Dorry.” A familiar voice resounded in the air but that didn’t make me stop, o confined to window shop cautiously. “The other day you beat up my boys who came to say hi to you.” I cpjdl hear Julian scoff.
“I’m not very welcoming and you know it.” I sighed turning to lol at him, his eyes still remained the same, a smirk wa Ross his lips wothba cigar between them, his eyes bribed with fury and I could tell he wasn’t here for some chit chat.
“Why don’t we have a chat?” He looked around the store. l””somewhere more private? I don’t want to have to drag this people into your mess.” His tone was low and threatening but it was t enough to make me listen to him.
“Chat with you? When did o tell you I was interested in you?” I scoffed, infuriating him even more. “Leave my sight.” I continued to remain composed, clenching my jaw.
“Fucking bastard!” He snapped, throwing his fists but I skillfully dodged it, moving away from him, my hands still in my pocket. “Ha!” He laughed. “I’m only getting started!”
More of his men pulled up, metal baseball bats in their hands, fighting them here woul be futile, the place was enclosed so the only viable option was to run.
I needed my face intact since I would be visit my so called mother bad stepsister tomorrow.
Turning on my heels, I dashed putnof the store, they ran in tow with me but I was faster, reaching out for my bike was going to slow me down so I continued to run as fast as I could.
“Get back here you loser! I need to teach you some manners since you mother couldn’t!” Jillian yelled from behind me.
Stopping in front of a house, I looked around, there was no place to hide considering the amount of people chasing me, seeing the lights were off, I quickly opened the window hoping I wouldn’t land in a pile of smelly socks. Jumping in, I lost my balance, a short girl, probably a high schooler stood in front of me, holding a baseball bat in her hand, her eyes full of fear, ready to make the hit.
Pulling her down with me, I could feel my wolf growl in joy. She breathed loudly, trying hard not to overreact, I could see her bright lie eyes from the dimly lit lamp reflecting in the room. Something about her felt different, pulling me closer.
“Mate.” My wolf growled
