My eyebrows shot up. I stared at Romano, my mouth agape. After all the hell he had put me through, all the pain and betrayal, he had the audacity to approach me, to ask me to dance, without a hint of fear or hesitation.

An incredulous scoff left my lips. My chest hummed with a low, dangerous anger as I glared at him. “Get the fuck out of my sight,” I gritted, my voice barely a whisper, fighting to keep the rage from amplifying.
