A suspicious small smile curled on his lips as he moved closer, standing before me with his hands in his pockets.

“Go to your room, Leo. I will come and meet you soon,” I said, watching him dash toward his room.

“What a handsome boy!” he remarked, his gaze following Leo. A strange mix of emotions stirred within me as I saw him watch my son.
