Camila
His hands were all over my body as our tongues battled. My hands grabbed a fistful of his shirt as my body was on fire, but then i terminated the kiss and jumped down from him.
Curse this body. "I shouldn't be doing this. "I don't trust men anymore and...we are enemies, he threatened me. What if this results in having sex, then he'd stab me to death and blame it on a natural cause.
Tex heaved as he licked his lower lip. He was speechless, properly wondering, just like me, what were we doing?
"What? "You're frightened, I'd eat you?" he whispered as we locked eyes. His hands were crossed on his dick as his eyes dragged me.
I was frightened indeed, recalling everything about Merlo. I gave him no response and just walked away from him.
"Lucy" he called, but I kept moving further, cold and devastated.
Silence.
"Talk to me Lucy" he added, but then, there were no words from me. He sounded desperate.
"You can't just go and meet your mad father with that look" he pressed on, almost grabbing me, but I pushed him away with every energy in me.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled, covering my ears and breathing hard. He was confused as he placed his palm on my back.
"Please, don't hurt me, I beg you," I cried and fell limply in a sitting position while squivering.
He squatted low in my position and placed his palms on my cheeks.
"Hey Lucy, look at me, if this is a trick to get your dad here, just stop it" he muttered, and I pushed him away, sobbing.
"Don't kill me, you're hurting me! No! Leave me!!!" I screamed as he grabbed me. I was suffocating. This is Merlo, I'm sure of it, and he was hitting me with his belt.
"Lucy, what's wrong?" Tex's voice came in and when I looked up, I met his worried gaze, and then he embraced me just like the last time at the beach.
His voice blurred out as I was suffocating and sobbing in his arms.
"I won't let anyone hurt you, I'm here now" he whispers, stroking my hair while I shook in his arms. I could suddenly feel that safety in his arms, but then Don Miguel appeared with his bouncers.
They terminated our embrace, pulling Tex from the ground.
I didn't even know I was screaming if Don Miguel hadn't come in, and he punched Tex's face.
He grabbed his collar, roaring at his face. The two bouncers held me up as they shielded me, and I was trapped behind them.
"What did you do to her!" Don Miguel roared, and his questions were followed by punches on Tex and my heart was bleeding.
Tex wasn't saying anything and when I peeped to look at him, he was spatting on the ground and his saliva was mixed with blood.
"You should stop now. "My wife is going through trauma, and she needs me", he responded and took a glimpse at me. I didn't even know what to do, but I didn't want him to get hit either.
"Screw you Tex, how did I cut your body into pieces?" Don Miguel barked, almost sending Tex another blow, but I was swift to break out of the two bouncers and I appeared in front of Don Miguel, spreading my arms and breathing hard.
"Don't you dare touch my husband again!" I barked, vibrating like a dog charged to bite don Miguel if he makes another attempt.
"What? "He is manipulating you, Lucy, move let me deal with this psychopath," he ordered, and Tex had even shoved me aside just so I wouldn't meddle, but I wouldn't move.
"Lucy!" Don Miguel yelled, pushing me aside roughly and I hit my body on the floor. Hastily, Tex moved towards me, rolling me over to meet his gaze.
"Are you hurt?" he asked, his eyes dancing in his sockets and then his eyes lowered at my bruised elbow. Tex gritted his teeth and folded his fist. He left me and faced Don Miguel.
"Miguel!" Tex roared and suddenly punched him. Don Miguel stuttered back, and his bouncers had to hold him from falling.
"I'd take in all of your trash but a bruise on my wife from you. I won't hold back!"
"You son of a gun! "She's my daughter!" Don miguel bragged, pulling out of the grip of the two bouncers and intending to hit Tex again, but he dodged his punch and grabbed Miguel by the collar.
"Get out of my house" he ordered with burning eyes at Miguel, who was stunned at Tex's reaction.
"What!"
"You heard him, leave" I added, sitting upright on the ground and fuming at him.
Don Miguel gritted his teeth as his bouncers intended to step up, but then he stopped them.
"Princess, the next time I return, you'll divorce this man" he asserts, glancing at Tex from head to toe and then walking away with his bouncers.
Tex paced closer to me, inserted my hair in my ears and looked me in the eyes. He wasn't saying anything but his eyes read a lot of emotions, and I was melting.
He carried me in his arms and then took me to my room. Tex made me sit on the bed while he searched for the first aid kit in my room. Once he found it, he sat beside me on the bed and my eyes were just watching him.
He took my elbow and his eyes scrutinized the injury.
"You shouldn't have stepped in, you know how crazy your dad can be," he complains while gently applying antiseptics on the injury. He was so careful as though not to inflict pain.
Why did he do that? Did he like Lucy or was he just doing it to make me fall for him and then put up good words to my father?
"Tell me if it hurts" he said, but I wasn't making a sound except my heartbeat and my head, which keeps replaying the scene from earlier.
He could have just beaten Don Miguel, but he didn't. My eyes were lingering on the bruises on his face. One of Miguel's rings had cut him on the left brow, and he was bleeding from his nose too, but he didn't mind, he was treating mine, which was just a scratch.
I took my free hand and placed my palm on his cheek, to feel the warmth, and he raised his eyes to hold my gaze.
"But you're hurt" I whispered, and he heaved a sigh while sticking the bandage in his hand on my bruise.
"You should rest now. "I've had enough of your dramas together, Miss Villian," he muttered, and then shifted his gaze away from me. The first aid kit was beside him, and he was arranging the tools inside.
I held his hand and then said:
"Look at me, Mr villian"
He scoffed and wouldn't even look at me. I had to place both my palms on his cheeks and shoved him to look at me roughly.
"I'd die at this rate" he complains, letting out a soft sigh.
"Stay still, I don't like seeing blood everywhere", I snapped, using the back of my palm to wipe his nose. He was quiet and sat still while his eyes drank every feature of my face.
I also tackled his bleeding thanks to the first aid kit which had everything I needed. The kit looks new, like it hadn't been used before and for a moment, I could tell that Tex hadn't tried hitting Lucy before or even argued with her.
He wasn't doing it because of her father, nor was it love, but because that's who he is.
I saw him earlier. When he was trailing after Merlo in his car, I was stalking him to make sure of it. He had seen a juvenile in a corner, looking scared and lonely while curling herself.
I thought he'd just ride off because that was his first attempt, but he drove back with bags of groceries and handed them to her. He even sat with her for a while and joked before she left excitedly.
There was a boy who was running away from his bullies and Tex helped him out and, unfortunately, those bullies had a test of their medicine and still ended up in the precinct.
I don't know why these memories were coming back, but somehow, I felt I had met him as Camila before.
"If you wouldn't hurt me, why do you have my picture there?" I asked, slowly looking at him in the eyes.
He rubbed his left brow and then eyed me.
"Who says I won't? ""I'm just putting on a show so don't fall in love before it's too late," he mused, and I blushed, as if his words meant nothing.
