It's been really awkward, I've been keeping my distance since I recovered. 

Glad as I may be that my mom no longer wants me as her child, it still upsets me that I'm unable to get my revenge for how much wreckage she caused in my life. 

She's the reason Jayden was forced to marry me. 

It's because of her that this car ride to school is so awkward.
