Inside the luxurious hospital room, Baby David was still lying weakly on his bed. His small body was wrapped in a thick blanket, his face pale with an IV tube attached to his tiny hand. A rare disorder attacking Baby David's blood vessels had caused his body to run a high fever, and a red rash appeared on several parts of his skin.
