Amelie's POV

We get back to Nathan’s apartment. I’m starving. I head to the kitchen, take the Mexican food out of the fridge, reheat it, and plate it up. We eat, talk, and laugh. I enjoy Nathan’s company. He’s so easy to be around. I feel so safe with him.

My phone rings, “Hello?”

“Oh, hi, Mr. Vincent…. What...I see. How is this possible? Uh-huh… What am I supposed to do? Ok…I guess there is no choice. Ok, bye.” I sigh and drop my shoulders.
