I have been dressed in my tuxedo for over 30 minutes, pacing back and forth downstairs, waiting for Amelie. I can’t wait to see her. I quickly texted her and learned she would be down shortly.

I hear voices coming closer from upstairs and turn my head to the staircase. My mouth gaped open as I saw Amelie descend the stairs. She is a vision of beauty—a true goddess.
