Nathan’s POV

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Amelie any more than I already do, she gifts me the car I’ve been pining over since I was 21 years old.

“Kitten,” I said breathlessly.

Amelie smiled at me, and I lost all of my senses. I pounced on her, hugged her, and kissed her aggressively. I swear she swooned because it felt like I was holding her up.

“Hey!” Grandfather said. “Save that for the wedding night!” Then he laughed.
