Amelie’s POV

It was almost 6:30 pm by the time we arrived at the mansion. We were greeted at the door by Grandfather, Zander, and a very excited Biscuit. I bent down and picked up Biscuit, and was assaulted with a barrage of puppy kisses.

“Oh, Biscuit, you silly puppy,” I giggled. “I love you, too.”

“Welcome home!” Carrington expressed.
