The results came back early the next week. Confirmed. The blood on the fabric was a 99.9% match for paternity. Which meant it had to be a relative of Amelie. Fuck. This psycho was playing a really long game. Almost 13 years long.

The good news was that no more packages were delivered in more than a week. I guess psychos need holidays too. The bad news was that the stress had gotten to Amelie, and I ended up taking her to the doctor. She’s currently in bed with bronchitis. ...
