“Where is Eliza?” I asked Trudy.

“She’s with Morgan,” Trudy said. “Morgan was taking her for supper. I can look after her tonight.”

“I appreciate it, Trudy,” I said, hugging her again. “The boys are staying with Grandfather tonight.”

“That’s good,” Trudy stated. “Keep them out of this horrible situation. I’m going to go upstairs and call Morgan.”

“Thank you, Trudy,” I responded. “I will keep you informed.”
