“No, the only people there were Jonathan, Franklin Duval, and Ms. Adams,” Evander advised.

“Ms. Adams?” I asked, puzzled. “Jonathan’s sister?”

“No, his mother,” Evander explained. “She’s one crazy ass bitch.” Evander laughed.
