The days following the tense, thoughtless moments in Darien’s room were nothing but feet of avoidance. I was keeping out of Darien’s path and I guess he was doing the same thing also.

I had gone on to throw myself into anything that would keep me away from him training, spending time with Raven, and even going on to take long walks through the packed ground just the clear my head from everything cluttering my brain.

I was completely in for anything to distract myself ...
