I took a deep breath and steeled myself for what was to come. I was determined to confront Darien again, to demand answers and clarity. I couldn't keep living in the dark, wondering what was going on and why Darien was being so secretive.

I made my way to Darien's office, my heart pounding in my chest. I could feel my palms growing sweaty, my senses on high alert. I took a deep breath and pushed open the door, preparing myself for what was to come.
