Olivia’s POV

As Alexander left my office, I covered my mouth to stifle a triumphant laugh. I stood and walked to the living room window, gazing at Manhattan’s dazzling skyline. A satisfied smile spread across my face. It felt as if a heavy burden had lifted, as if words trapped in my throat for years had finally been set free.

I felt liberated, fulfilled. Seeing Alexander on the verge of tears was intoxicating. “Glorious!” I exclaimed, sinking back into my chair, lost in thought.
