I had just spoken to Ellen, the cell phone still in my hand and a goofy smile on my face. I was so happy that everything had worked out and that she had woken up that I couldn't help but smile. The day had been a whirlwind for me, with so much tension and action happening in such a short space of time; everything had been too difficult to handle, but at least things had ended well.
