Laura's mouth fell open in surprise. She wasn't sure she had heard George right. She had been there today? But she knew she had been home all day and hadn't stepped out for a minute.

Scott's head sprang up to look at her. He raised a brow in question. He knew she had been home all day, his guards had kept eyes on her but who knew? Maybe she had found a way out.
