ZURI

The words barely passed my lips when I felt a chill air whispering above me. I gasped and looked in the direction the air was whooshing, just in time to see a thick cloud of smoke caressing the door, throwing the bolts in place.

“Do you always do that?” I was more breathless from the kiss than from what I’d just seen. He was really powerful, that much was clear.
