Fire ate through Magnikka.

The sky above my kingdom bled red, thick smoke curling into clouds until the sun was nothing but a dim glow behind the haze.

Screams echoed through the streets. I watched in horror at the men shouting and women wailing. Children were crying for their mothers who were no longer there. Blood had painted the ground in a colour that made me sick to my stomach.
