“Tyr.”

Her voice cracked through the dim quiet like a blade sliding free from its sheath. I froze on the spot. My heart lurched so hard against my chest it nearly drowned out her voice.

Zuri had sat upright now away from me, her hair spilling like ink over her bare shoulders. The sight should have soothed me like it usually did, but the look on her face tied a knot in my chest.
