She doesn't listen.

"Rosie," I called further, dragging my feet towards the direction she took.

"Princess?"

My voice intensified at each call as she pissed me off, yet I found her fascinating that I could spend the whole night listening to her arguments.

I chuckle when she forgets she's with me, those eyes that spark with bewilderment and conceive a lie.

I found myself smiling, feeling a bit weird about abandoning all work to find her.

I brought her here, to listen to her whining ...
