Prince Milo of the red harbour pack stood there with his best friend, they enjoyed hunting the rogues but his father, the Alpha had warned him from killing any of them as they needed them to force the Lycan pack to submit to their will.

“This is so boring! Look at them begging to be killed.” Jack, Milo’s best friend whines.

“Hnm,” Milo smirks devilishly and Jack tuts before walking away.

“There are no girls to impress here, how about you stop trying to woo me!”

“Oh get off me, man!” Milo struggles to get out of Jack's embrace.

“Oh, Prince Milo! You are so handsome!”

Both of them got engrossed playing that they almost missed her pass.

Jasmines pov.

She had been in the first for about thirty minutes now, nothing, it seemed empty and after getting rid of her initial fear, she was starting to love the place, it was artistic, it was pretty and the scene in here was dazzling.

“Why did Dad make such a beautiful place evil, I can’t wait to paint this.” I smiled happily.

Carefully placing my backpack by the tree trunk, I walked closer to the Brook, it was like a dreamy area.

The sun was barely in, except through small cracks among the tall trees, the ground smelled moist and wet, it smelled like it had rained all over. The flowers, all of different species sprayed the path, it felt like it came out of a happy ending fairytale and…

Tweak! Someone stepped on a tree branch somewhere behind me, and my instincts kicked in.

‘Are the rogues real?’

Jumping into my defensive pose, I was ready to defend myself, for whatever it was, animal or both.

The footsteps got closer and I kept stalking until a familiar scent hit me, only one person smelled like burnt candy in lycan.

Pipper emerged from the woods into the meadow, giggling hard.

“Did I scare you?” She laughed harder, getting on my nerves. “You should have seen your face sister. What? You thought I was a….”

“PIPPER!”

Milo’s pov.

“Who do you think she was?” Jack kept pestering me about the girl who ran past us earlier, she looked familiar but I couldn’t place it.

“I don’t know, maybe from the lycan pack.”

“But Lycan doesn’t allow anyone in here because of the rogues, do you think she was exiled? Maybe she can come with us and I can charm her?” Jack continued to yap beside me.

‘Urgggg!’ I willed him to shut up in my head.

“PIPPER!” Her scream echoed through the woods, and my heart skipped.

‘Why?’ Before I could process it, he yanked me back.

“What? Is that her? Do you think the rogues got to her?” Jack looked behind us worried but I was not sure I cared.

“I don’t care let’s go home.”

“What?” Jack hesitated. “We can’t just leave her in here it is dangerous!”

“Jack, she walked in here on her own, we are not responsible for her!”

“Milo!”

“Jack!” I tried hard not to look into his eyes, I could never say no to his puppy dog eyes, sighing I have in. “Fine, I know I will regret it but fine.”

Letting Jack lead the way, we went in search of the girl.

It came out of nowhere and just thrust its hand into Piper’s heart, it happened all too fast, too fast for her to protect her sister.

“PIPPER!”

In the blink of an eye, it happened too fast, Piper still had a smile on her face, as her hair darkened and she fell slowly to the ground.

Jasmine tried to rush to her side only for a rogue to stand in her way, with her eyes in piper, she yanked its heart out.

“Arrghhh!” Baring her claws, she thrust her hand into its heart, and it fell lifeless beside her.

The rogue that got Piper dug its teeth into her skin, and it was about to start eating her.

“No!” ‘If she were still I one price they can.. they can….’ Jasmine felt she was running too slow.

Someone whistled somewhere and the rogue ran off like it had been caught stealing candy.

Finally, Jamsine held her body, with tears streaming down her face, half of her face had been bitten off, there was a huge hole, and her clothes were soaked in blood.

“Pipper! No! PIPPER wake up! Please! Pipper!” Dad was going to kill me!

“Do you think we should help her?” Jalc asked Milo who seemed rooted to the spot.

Her scent hit him, she smelled like spring, fresh spring and as she cried, she glowed in the meadow.

“Milo?” Jack shook him out of it. “Dude get a grip? What do we do? Seems the rogue killed her sister, I think she is a lycan.”

“Lycan?” He whispered, his mate was a lycan.

“Milo hide!” Jack pulled him down.

Alpha Garret and General Huzo emerged from the woods.

“Shit” Jack grabbed Milo by the collar pushing him down. “Alpha Garret, what’s he doing here?”

“Jasmine? Why are you here? Where is Piper?” Alpha Garret asked Jasmine who still cradled the body of her sister in her arms.

“Did you kill these rogues?” General Huzo asked looking around.

“Dad.” She sobbed hard, while still cradling Pipper’s body. Fear and relive hit her at once.

“It is okay dear, I should have told you what was in these woods, are you hurt?” Alpha Garret bent low to scoop her into his arms when he saw what was in her arms. “Who is that?”

She sobbed, his brows were twitching, he had seen her, he knew. “Dad I..”

“WHO is that JASMINE!” He was still struggling with the reality that was about to dawn on him.

“Daddy.”

Alpha Garret strikes his daughter on the cheeks and she falls.

“No!” Milo wanted to run to help her but Jack held him down.

“What’s your problem! You want to get us killed!”

“You rebellious child! You killed your sister! You killed her!!” Alpha Garret continued to yell at her.

Sobbing, she tried to get closer to him but he pushed her back making her bruise her arm.

“My lord, let her explain.” General Huzo tried to help her but Alpha Garret was blinded by anger.

“Lock her up!” Stopping low he picked up Piper's lifeless body and started to walk away without as much as a second glance at her.

“Dad.” She called weakly.

“Princess, I am sorry.” General Huzo held his arms out to her.

“I didn’t do it! She followed Me! I didn’t bring her out, I was in the meadow and and.. she came and then.. it just came out of nowhere, I killed one but.. you have to believe me! You have to Tell my dad! I… I… didn’t kill her! I would Never hurt Piper General Huzo.” She explained frantically as the tears dropped faster, but…
