Aaron's POV.
We were eating dinner, but my mind was on the second floor.
I couldn't eat my dinner in peace. Ivy hadn't eaten since she returned from college.
Ivy was summoned several times by her mom, but she did not show up.
Why are you so obstinate?
Ivy's mom said abruptly, "Your daughter refuses to eat."
"What's the matter with my sweetie?" Ivy's dad asked.
"Maybe a relationship issue," Jack speculated.
"Jake, this isn't the time for a joke," Ivy's dad added, his voice deep.
"I don't know," Ivy's mom said. "She said she just wanted to be alone."
"Give me her food. I'm going to feed her tonight," Ivy's dad said as he took the tray and went upstairs.
I was messing with the spoon while staring at my food.
"Aaron, why aren't you eating?" Ivy's mom asked.
"Yes," I said, nodding and trying to eat. Brother appeared after a bit.
"This girl will make me mad. Why do you fight if you can't stay without your friends?"
As he set the tray on the table, Brother murmured.
"I genuinely don't get my daughter," he said.
Ivy's mom sighed and expressed her disappointment with the situation by saying, "I'm going to leave her dinner on the table. If she is hungry, she will eat..."
My brother sat next to me and said, "Aaron!"
I said, "Yes, brother."
"I think you heard everything right?"
"Yes, brother, I heard it all," I answered.
"Sorry, I had no idea Roxina would do this to you. I would not have chosen her for you if she had told me before."
"It's all right, brother. Whatever happens is due to our great luck. So don't be concerned."
As I already stated, I arose without eating. Ivy's mom tried to stop me by saying, "Aaron!"
"Sis, I'm not feeling well," I said as I walked upstairs.
"What's the matter with him now? I simply do not get today's generation," Franklin stated.
Tati narrowed her eyes and whispered, "Why did you bring her name up in front of him?"
Jack's phone immediately rang.
"Now what?" Franklin said, arching one eyebrow at Jack.
"Dad, my friend," Jack said with a forceful smile as he ran away.
"Such strange people," Franklin said as he started to eat.
Around twelve o'clock, I went out to see if she had eaten her food.
Ivy was really stubborn.
I walked downstairs and took her food. I came to a halt in front of her door. I gasped loudly and knocked on her door. I knocked again on her door but received no response. I knocked on the door once more.
Then, after a long time, I heard her pleasant voice saying, "Who?"
"Ivy, open the door," I said.
But I got no response.
"Ivy!" I said it once more.
"Why are you here?" Ivy asked abruptly.
I replied, "We need to talk," but Ivy answered, "We don't need to talk."
"Please, Ivy, just once listen to me," I pleaded.
"I won't," she said.
I clenched my teeth.
"I'll break the door if you don't open it."
"Do you want me to do it?" I yelled.
She eventually opened the door.
When I finally met her, her brows were furrowed.
"What do you want right now?" She asked.
But I didn't reply and went into the room. When I walked in, I was shocked to see the room. What exactly has she done?
Her clothing, books, and everything else were strewn all over the floor.
"What is this, Ivy?" I asked.
Ivy sighed and answered, "This is the way I stay. It is not new for me."
I let out a sigh and placed the tray on her bed.
I said, "Come here."
But she didn't do as I said.
So I grabbed her hand in mine and forced her to sit on the bed. I began tidying her room. I tidied her books and moved her clothing off the floor.
"I thought you'd matured, but no, you're still the same," I said as I tidied her books.
