Chapter 78 You Lost the First Time You Met Me

Ronghua looked down at Guixia, who was in a confounded state. The person who was hurt by the fire of nothingness would not be better even if he were not dead.

Guixia leaned on the ground. Her hand was bleeding. No intact skin could be found in her hand, which was too horrible to watch. Nevertheless, she refused to surrender.

“Ronghua, how did you get the fire of nothingness?”

Was not the fire of nothingness only owned by the King of Death?

“Guess!”

Guixia was annoyed to spit out blood. She was nearly hit to death and had no strength to stand at all. Now she looked at the fire of nothingness burning on Ronghua’s hand, which made her felt the fire of anger burn more fiercely in her mind.

“Only the King of Death possesses the fire of nothingness. How could you own it!”

Guixia thought this bitch must have tempted the King of Death and asked him to let her get out of the Realm of Demons. Otherwise, the things Ronghua had done were enough for the King of Death to kill her, and to even deprive her chance for metempsychosis.

“Don’t think me so bad. Did you think that I get out of that place counting on him? By temptation? Well, if this would work, would I have to wait for a hundred thousand years? You thought so highly of me on this aspect. He loved his wife so much, and I disdain to be involved.”

“Do you think I’ll believe?”

“Whether you believe or not has nothing to do with me. Besides, do you think everyone will do the same as you?”

Guixia fumed at Ronghua as Ronghua insinuated that she was a homewrecker.

Then, they gazed at each other without speaking. There was no sound but had an aura of battle.

Ronghua broke the silence, “Guixia!”

Guixia replied, “What?”

“You are so hostile to me, but you had no strategies when you attacked me. And you know how to refine puppets. Who taught you that?”

Hearing that, Guixia stopped looking at her, and her look became freezing. Ronghua understood when she saw Guixia’s reaction and smiled, “The one who practiced the skill of puppeteer would not be able to teach you much if he was not experienced enough. I have planned to share this skill, but someone told me that this skill violated nature, so I gave up. However, you still learned this, unless....”

Yet Guixia interrupted, “Ronghua! There’s no need to say these. Though gods were a stronger race in this world, it’s not the only powerful race, and you can’t do everything either.”

Then, Ronghua stared at her thoughtfully. Guixia’s oratory skills did improve in these days.

Therefore, Ronghua replied resignedly, “Well, you’re right. I’m not superior enough, but I’m better compared with you. That’s why the King of Death chose to cooperate with me!”

Her words made Guixia have the impulsion to slap Ronghua away. Ronghua was showing off undoubtedly. She was provoking her by saying that intentionally. What was she complacent about? Guixia must have put Ronghua to death but for her bad situation. “Ronghua!” Guixia shouted.

Ronghua looked at her, relaxedly, “You don’t have to speak so loud. I can hear it!”

Guixia said, “You—”

Before she could continue, a whistle came close to them with high speed from one side. Ronghua shielded with icicles swiftly when she heard the voice. Then she took this moment to take out a bow from her space. Then, she attached the arrow, drew the bow, and shot— hit the target!

This series of actions was completed fluently like running water and rapidly like lightning. Guixia did not even have enough time to understand what she was going to do and failed to see the movements. The things approaching was pierced by the arrow and died.

After a moment of silence, explosive sounds burst out from all directions, which were loud as if the mountains were destroyed and the sea was overturned. Then the ice covered those places soon.

Ronghua smiled, not obviously. The bow was spun in her hand and then was put down. Guixia hummed emphatically in mind but showed a triumphant smile on her face, “How do you feel, Ronghua? You can’t be well now. My sister has come. You have no way to escape.”

Ronghua combed her hair with her hand and said indifferently, “Okay, let’s try!”

Guixia said in a deep voice, “There’s still time for you to surrender and be our capture. Otherwise, you will lose the chance when my sister begins attacks.”

“I’ll wait.”

Ronghua was still unconcerned. If it were a few minutes ago, Guixia would flare at this reaction of Ronghua. But now, it was no need for her to be furious since her sister had come. She just believed that Ronghua was hiding her scare.

“Your Grace is still as confident as usual. Don’t you think whom you’re dealing with now!”

This voice came from everywhere. Ronghua glanced around and understood.

“Don’t hide since you have come. Come out and talk face to face!”

“He-he, you’re always so forthright, Your Grace.”

The next second, an exquisite horse appeared on the land, which was ice-covered. A woman was riding on the horse, mailed, and was holding a spear in hand. Behind the woman was an army.

There was a faint smile on the woman’s comely face.

“Guiyun?”

“It’s my honor that Your Grace still remembers me!” Guiyun chuckled.

“So... Guixia’s skill of puppeteer….”

“I taught her!”

Indeed, this was the only possible reason. Guixia should not have learned it by herself according to her intelligence.

“Well— what are you doing now?”

After she asked, Guiyun held her spear horizontally, and her fingers stroked the spear body gently, “Taking the life of Your Grace, of course.”

“Oh, where do you get your confidence?”

Guiyun was not affected and still touching the spear with fingers, “I will definitely do it since I dare to say!”

“Lunatic! Rodomontade!”

Ronghua raised her bow again and turned, “Frost-condensation Arrow!”

Seeing the arrow shot by Ronghua, Guiyun concentrated at once, and her look grew cold. Her armed escort behind her spurred their horses immediately to sprint to the front of Guiyun, swung the blades, and attempted to knock off the arrow for her.

Ronghua sneered. These guards were kicking against the pricks!

As Ronghua had foreseen, those men were frozen as soon as they touched the arrow, and smashed to pieces the next second!

The others changed their strategies after they saw the consequence. They rode to Ronghua’s side, wanting to take the preemptive opportunities to captive Ronghua.

Ronghua detected their plan and turned to shoot a volley of arrows at them without hesitation. Those guards were killed instantly before the fallen leaves had time to touch the earth.

Then, Ronghua attacked Guiyun with the rain of the arrows in virtue of the height she bounced.

Guiyun did not care about this offense at all. She leaped to the air and waved her spear. All the rushing arrows were brought down by her easily.

After that, Guiyun stroke towards Ronghua with her spear at lightning speed. Ronghua failed to evade in time, so she had to lift her bow to resist. She was shaken to step backward and tried hard to stop.

In contrast, Guiyun landed on horseback leisurely.

Ronghua noticed that Guiyun was safe and sound when she managed to keep her feet. She promptly realized that Guiyun was much more difficult to address than Guixia.

Guixia could not help ridiculing again when she saw this, “You’re done, Ronghua! You can’t beat my sister.”

Ronghua would quarrel with her if she did not use too much spiritual power to fight with Guixia. She gathered spiritual power difficultly and had used much of it on the soul puppets, and her condition was worse right now.

Guiyun mentioned lightly, “These puppets are made from live humans and well-trained. Ordinary people won’t have the chance to see them.”

Guiyun was so pleased. When she saw Ronghua did not move and was still balancing her breath, she asked with a smile, “How do you feel, Your Grace? Do you want to continue?”

Ronghua recovered a little and said, “Be patient. Let’s continue.”

Guiyun dismounted from her horse and asked, “Your Grace, are you sure?”

Guixia stood by and gloated, “Sister, don’t be so hard. Don’t go too far. Otherwise, you’ll hurt our Princess.”

Guiyun beamed with smiles and looked at Ronghua banteringly. She waved her hand, and those puppets flooded to Ronghua briskly. Ronghua supported herself with the bow, and even herself did not notice that her hands were trembling uncontrollably.

Guiyun walked towards Ronghua. Her speed was neither too fast nor too slow. She would be like taking a walk in the garden rather than killing if she put off her mail and spear.

Now it had nothing to do with Guixia, so she was pleased to be a spectator and waited for Ronghua to be beaten, which could compensate for her injuries.

“Sister, her spiritual power is almost run out by me and has no resistance at all. Capture her quickly. I’ll tear her head off!”

Ronghua glowered at her and retreated step by step. Guiyun wanted to make fun of her, so she did not urge to shorten their distance. However, the guards around them could not be ignored. Ronghua would be attacked once she lost her vigilance, and she might die here if she did not react to the assaults promptly enough.

An extremely thick branch grew horizontally from a thicker trunk, blocking Ronghua’s way to retreat. Ronghua darted a look at it, kicked, and felt the branch was quite burly. Hence, she used the bow to break the branch from its middle and then turned to shoot at Guiyun with it, accompanying the fire.

Guixia reminded her elder sister as soon as she spotted that, “Sister, be careful. That’s the fire of nothingness!”

Guiyun was aware of the unusualness of this fire as well, so she did not intend to confront it directly.

She manipulated the puppets to hinder it and rose to the fire, spraying the dust with the spear as another defense. After that, she swung her spear with spiritual power and warded off the attack from the fire of nothingness thoroughly.

The explosive sound was halted outside the forest. Ronghua took one step backward and coughed out blood immediately. It seemed that these actions had taken away all her remaining strength. She could not stand on her feet anymore, so she leaned on the tree and slide down slowly.

Guixia struggled to rise to her feet and walked to Ronghua. She swore as she moved, “How is it, Princess Ronghua? Does it feel good to be harmed? It is rare to see you being hurt so badly. Do you think that you are still the superior and incomparable Princess Ronghua?”

“Let me tell you. You are nothing now. You can’t do anything, and you can’t save your race. You can’t even protect yourself. I think you….”

Before she finished her words, she had already gotten close to Ronghua. Guixia planned to slap at Ronghua’s face to vent her hate as she thought Ronghua had no power to revolt. Beyond her expectation, Ronghua opened her eyes fiercely and made Guixia stunned for a second. Making use of this second, Ronghua flapped at her with a murderous visage at full tilt.

“Guixia!”

Guiyun did not expect that Guixia would get so close to Ronghua. What was more, she did not think that Ronghua could still attack. Guixia was clapped aside and stroke against the tree heavily. She fell to the ground in a faint instantly.

“Ronghua!”

Guiyun was totally infuriated this time.

She threw out her spear forcefully, and it stuck deep into the tree.

Ronghua attempted to stand up again and ran her spiritual power in violence to combat with Guiyun closely. Guiyun attacked ruthlessly this time, and Ronghua did not have enough energy to fight. When Ronghua failed to notice, Guiyun kicked her and knocked her backward, which was the accurate direction towards the tree with the spear.

Ronghua was stabbed by the spear dreadfully, and her mind was all blank. She could only hear the sound that her flesh was torn. Then she saw one more wound appeared on her chest, and the spear was pinned there. The blood was bleeding endlessly, and she had no way to stop it at all. After a moment, the pain finally hit her. Ronghua’s lips trembled, but she couldn’t make a sound.
