Chapter 79 Kiss, Don’t Touch!

Ronghua tried to stop her wounds from bleeding by pressing against them with her hands but found that it was ineffective.

Guiyun held the fainted Guixia up into her arms and passed Guixia to a puppet monster. “Take Princess Guixia back for treatment. Remember, if she’s hurt again, I will kill you,” said Guiyun.

The puppet replied, “Yes.”

The puppet then rode on a pegasus and left. He was afraid of wasting time.

After Guixia had left, there was nothing Guiyun was worried about.

Guixia then smiled at Ronghua, who was bleeding and pinned onto a tree. “What now? Still have any power left in you to fight? You could only fight against me with the fan. You did impress me with your spiritual power. But Guixia told me that you had no spiritual power when you were in the Realm of Demons,” said Guiyun.

Ronghua was breathing heavily while ignoring Guiyun’s remarks. Ronghua held up the spear that pierced through her chest, thinking of ways to pull it out. But she then found that most of the spear was stuck into the tree and could not be taken out.

“I might not have any spiritual power now. But it was not me who made you two so desperate. I’ve heard that your lives in the Realm of Demons are becoming increasingly unbearable,” said Ronghua.

Guiyun smiled coldly, with uncanny depth in her voice.

“Quarrelsome!” said Guiyun.

Ronghua asked, “Now, what do you want?”

Ronghua did not expect Guiyun would just chat with her like that. “She claimed that she would kill me after all,” thought Ronghua.

“I seldom take advantage of other’s difficulties, unless that person is you,” said Guiyun.

Upon finishing her remark, Guiyun then gestured with her hands and released a cloud of black smoke. Ronghua knew that Guiyun aimed to kill her. She then clenched her teeth and took a step forward, pulling herself off from the spear.

Ronghua then tripped and fell onto the ground.

Guiyun immediately sneered at Ronghua and said, “What? Can’t you even stand up now?”

Ronghua ignored Guiyun intentionally. Though Ronghua had got herself off the tree, the wounds could not be healed so easily.

“The golden light will need time to re-fill itself, but I might not be able to wait until then. I will just try my best to buy some time,” thought Ronghua.

Guiyun then said, “Get ready to die today, Ronghua!”

Ronghua then saw countless Guiyun-s were running toward her. “Am I dazzled?” wondered Ronghua.

A person was standing on a tree nearby, who had witnessed the entire incident. That person was in black from head to heel. He then squinted his eyes behind his black veil, while the sunlight dappled on his mysterious figure through the leaves; he could not be seen through.

That person was there since Ronghua was hurt. He did not interfere, nor did he tried to save anyone’s life.

He then lifted his fingers and moved it around. Suddenly, a flash of lightning dashed toward Guiyun.

To Guiyun’s surprise, there was another person here.

Guiyun did not manage to strike back. But still, she dodged that attack with a flip in the air and then landed awkwardly.

She was really upset. “It’s always like this! Someone would drop the ball at the critical moment!” thought Guiyun.

“Who was that! Come out of the shadow now! How dare you tried to stab me in the back!” shouted Guiyun.

Upon Guiyun had fished her remark, a person in black jumped off from the tree, sweeping past the grass beneath the tree with his shoes. He did not care if his clothes were getting wet by the dews on the leaves.

He stood cross-armed and found a more comfortable gesture to lean against the tree.

“I dare!” shouted Guiyun.

Guiyun was enraged, for that person hindered her from catching this fleeting chance to kill Ronghua. Guiyun was glaring with anger.

“Who are you, and why did you stop me? How dare you!” said Guiyun.

That person in black stood there quietly, without moving a finger, and seemed to be ignoring Guiyun. Ronghua managed to stand back on her feet and keep her eyes open. She noticed that this person in black was an ally, but there was something too lighthearted about that person and thus made him less trustworthy. “But one thing is for sure; his cultivation level is definitely above Guiyun and me. Otherwise, I would have been able to notice his existence after fighting for so long,” thought Ronghua.

Ronghua’s nerves were high-strung. She just sat there, without knowing how much time had passed, while the conversation between the person in black and Guiyun entered a deadlock, and none of them dared to move. Just when Ronghua was about to fall asleep, she moved a bit and became sober.

Ronghua moved because she heard the person in black move. But she had no power left to watch the fight. Fortunately, Ronghua did not sense any ill intentions against her from that person, so she just lay supinely on the ground and did not even open her eyes. She just lay there, wanting to get a good sleep.

“This is my business. Don’t mess with me,” warned Guiyun.

That person obviously ignored Guiyun’s words. He looked at Guiyun with the same old look and said, “What will happen if I mess with you.”

Guiyun held up her clothes tightly and gnashed her teeth in rage. But she dared not to initiate a fight, for she had sensed that the person in black was more powerful than her.

Guiyun looked at Ronghua, who collapsed on the ground, and became angrier than before as she would be one step away from skinning Ronghua alive if that person did not intervene with the fight.

“You won’t be so lucky the next time,” said Guiyun.

Guiyun faded into the background and left her hateful words to Ronghua.

Ronghua sighed in relief when she noticed Guiyun was gone. But she was quickly put under renewed stress as she realized that the person in black did not leave, so there was one more person she had to deal with.

Ronghua did not hear any words from the person in black for quite a while. She then initiated a conversation and asked with the weakest voice she could manage to produce, “You came to kill me too?”

The person did not reply.

Ronghua continued to say, “If so, you come at the perfect time. Guixia has managed to exhaust my spiritual power and badly wounded me. Lucky you.”

That person still did not reply. He then walked a few steps toward Ronghua.

Ronghua’s heart trembled for a second, while her fingers were shivering. But she also felt oddly refreshed. “Does that person know me?” wondered Ronghua.

People who had seen Ronghua’s conduct would usually fear her and should be stunned speechless by her presence now. Only Rongnuan might occasionally challenge Ronghua’s bottom line.

No one would have the guts to go anywhere near her, even in crowded places.

Hence, she had never experienced a one-on-one conversation as intimate as this one. If weren’t for the fact that Ronghua could not sense any ill-intention from the person in the black, she would have thought that person was only a virtuous passerby who had a taste for restoring justice and saved her as a practice of his principle.

Ronghua moved her body and tried to sense the person’s position with her closed eyes. That person raised the corners of his lips and smiled. Though he might seem to be attempting to say something, he quickly walked to Ronghua and held her up into his arms in silence.

Ronghua, “...”

“What is this?” wondered Ronghua.

Ronghua’s body was covered by cuts of various sizes, while the golden light did not shine out much as Ronghua’s body was still weak. Ronghua’s self-healing was consequently slowed. She would be able to fully recover after a little while and a good rest at a safe place.

But this brainless person held her up regardless of so many wounds that were still bleeding. That person’s muscles were also too bumpy and stiff to act as a cushion for Ronghua’s back.

She tried to open her eyes and get a clear view of that person. But that person covered her eyes with a strip of cloth that came out of nowhere.

Ronghua, “...”

“I am so upset! No one had ever treated me like this!” thought Ronghua.

Ronghua then tried to remove the strip of cloth covering her eyes but found her hands were grasped tightly, and she could not break it through. It was also unfortunate that there was a cut on her hand, and Ronghua’s body usually would not stop bleeding with a small cut.

The person’s hand was thus drenched with Ronghua’s blood. Ronghua could clearly feel that he was shivering.

“Hum...That was strange. He was not the one who’s bleeding, why is he shivering?” wondered Ronghua.

But Ronghua still had not sensed any harmful intention from that person. Ronghua moved her left hand and wanted to summon her icicle, but her move was quickly noticed and intervened by that person’s iron grip.

Ronghua was speechless. “Who is he really?” wondered Ronghua.

That person walked fast while holding Ronghua in his arms. They quickly arrived at somewhere crowded, for Ronghua had heard people talking and smelt the scent of burnt firewood.

“We are now at somewhere remote,” thought Ronghua.

Because she could not hear any noise anymore, she then felt something soft. “I am placed on a bed,” thought Ronghua.

Suddenly, Ronghua tried to push that person away. But it was to Ronghua’s surprise that the person caught her hands tightly again and stopped her from fighting back as if he had already foreseen everything.

Ronghua raised her feet and was ready to kick that person away. That person then held Ronghua’s shoulders and forced her body back onto the bed when she tried to get up. Within seconds, Ronghua felt something warm touched her lips. She was shocked.

This touch on Ronghua’s lips was, at the same time, familiar and strange, moist, and warm. Ronghua, at first, did not realize what had happened and was then petrified when she finally had recovered from her blank mind and realized what was going on.

“This person, who has just met me, is kissing me!” thought Ronghua.

“That’s ridiculous!” thought Ronghua.

That person was trying to pin Ronghua onto the bed by her shoulders with his hands and was trying to kiss her like that.

“That’s too bad. This man does not understand what kissing is. Because he is biting me!” thought Ronghua.

“He especially likes to bite my lower lip. That’s unbearable!” thought Ronghua. She then made up her mind and clenched her teeth tightly. A taste of blood then burst in Ronghua’s mouth. “He is bitten bleeding by me!” thought Ronghua.

But that person then became increasingly lewd in his actions. Ronghua tried to escape and remove the strip of cloth that was covering her eyes. But she failed. She then decided to escape again and was violently forced back onto the bed.

Ronghua had never failed in terms of physical strength. But her strength was useless against that man.

Ronghua then stopped her struggle as she noticed the person kissing her was shivering.

Ronghua then stopped moving. “Why does it seem like he is the victim?” wondered Ronghua.

Ronghua continued to think, “This person is strong, but he is also quite shy. He is trembling now. Does he fear me? It seems like he is a first-timer. Otherwise, he should have gone straight to the point. The timing is also preferable for him. Because the chance of success is higher when I am seriously injured, he might be waiting for that timing. Otherwise, he could not be able to show up there to take advantage of the timing so precisely. He could be a person with high cultivation and strong self-esteem as he had covered my eyes,” thought Ronghua.

Ronghua’s lips were still glued onto his and could not be separated from his lips after several rounds of rubbing.

Ronghua was thinking of ways to end this kiss, for she would suffocate if this kiss continued.

That person acted like he had not made up his mind of what to do with Ronghua. He then went easy on Ronghua’s lips. Ronghua did not care what he would do with her body, which seemed to have encouraged that person’s actions and led to Ronghua being easily invaded by him. Noticing Ronghua was helpless, that person acted increasingly wild.

Their lips were glued, and tongues tangled. Ronghua felt that she was running out of breath, and this kiss would become increasingly lethal if it could not be stopped.

With blurred eyes and tears, Ronghua turned her head around and tried to end this kiss. But her head was soon forced back.

In the next moment, that person crawled onto Ronghua and completely pressed her down on the bed. Ronghua could not move anymore, no matter how hard she had tried.

While the two continued their kiss, the man snaked his hand under Ronghua’s clothes. Much of Ronghua’s wounds had recovered. Ronghua was feeling dazzled, but that person’s icy touches had brought her back to reality with a good shiver.

Shivering and feeling boneless from the kiss, she had almost forgotten he was a stranger. The golden light had been healing her for so long, and Ronghua could finally move.
