“Holy shit.” Nikkie whispered, “Is that a wolf?”

“Stand back, everyone. I will tackle it.” I gritted my teeth, stepping forward, looking at the deep blue eyes of the wolf.

This wasn't a werewolf. Nor was it a wolf either. It was a sent one. I could see that this wolf was acting on orders. Someone had sent the wolf on a mission, and I could guess what that mission was.
