It took me a moment to realize that I’d been staring at him again.

His eyes blinked and his lips moved, but I couldn’t hear past the pounding rushing in my ears. Not from fear….or from my wolf’s internal howling of lust.

It was from something else.

A different kind of feeling that I'd never felt before. Not even with Jackson.
