Adina's POV

The morning sun was a pale and anemic orb in the skyband was already high when I finally drifted into a restless sleep on the couch. My mind, however, was in a state of hyper-awareness, replaying every terrifying detail of my dreams and the crushing reality of Nathan’s disappearance.
