Caleb’s eyes flick down, slow and shameless, scanning every inch of my body like he’s peeling me with his gaze.

“You know,” he says, licking his bottom lip, “you’re fucking hot when you’re mad.”

I roll my eyes so hard they nearly fall out of my head. “Jesus Christ.”

He pushes off the crate and walks toward me like a predator.
