By the time we manage to outrun the Gammas, the sun has set and the forest all around us is shrouded in darkness.

We're forced to stop to catch our breath. I don't think I've ever had a day worse than this one. For hours, all we've done is run around in circles to avoid being captured. This sense of failure is festering inside of me because I haven't done anything remotely useful to help. Cadence is dead. The armory has been discovered along with our plan.
